High Street Valuations’ partners with banks, lenders, owners and property management companies to ensure responsible risk management by providing accurate and reliable insurable values for commercial real estate properties. Our team is seeking a hard-working and motivated business developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the real estate appraisal and/or property management industry, B2B sales, and a solution-focused mentality. In this role, your main responsibility will be to develop & maintain relationships with clients.
Developing relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
Identify potential clients in the target market.
Partner with product team to create proposals and deliver reports.
Working with High Street’s internal team and resources (marketing, product specialists, etc.) to augment efforts in the field.
Positioning and differentiating High Street and our services against competitor firms and their services.
Presenting effectively in one-on-one and large groups
Become a subject matter expert on our services, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
Understand the competitive landscape and position High Street products to grow market share
Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
Strong overall sales acumen and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions for clients
Ambitious self-starter, solution focused and independent professional with excellent time management skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in commercial real estate, real estate appraisal and/or property casualty insurance
